We have replaced the trans twice (at hondas request),5 angel sensors (at hondas request), the wire harness (at hondas request), speed sensor, battery , the switch that selects D1-D2-ESP, shift motor, ecu, I think neutral sensor. American Honda also tells me they never had a problem with the transmission.

If I remember correctly, you should be able to take off the inner fender liner, and the radiator shroud without removing the front fenders. This will give you access to the plugs, but it will still be tight. Best move is to take the rack, front bumper, and front fender off.
