(3/10/2024) Carowinds opened for the 2024 season yesterday and from what I understand, despite a little poor weather, it was a good day for the park. The area plaza around the former Intimidator coaster entrance, now renamed as Thunder Striker, has also been renamed as Thunder Road in remembrance of the park's former racing wooden coaster.
