With sun, what will it do to our current ice conditions? I’m hoping it holds out until at least a little ways into March. Time will tell I guess.Have no fear, the Walleyes have, for the most part been willing most of the Winter. A day here and there they have been a little tough, but for the most consistent bite, they have saved our butts on more than 1 occasion. Today we were in less than 20 feet of water for the duration of the day and we had biters all the way until the final whistle.June 5, 2022. . We finally have received a couple lighter wind days and we have also been able to get around the lake a little more. Both of which have definitely helped the fishing. Early Ice usually means some relatively shallow fishing and we have found that to be true the last few trips, today’s Perch were in 28-30 and today’s Walleyes were in 13-16 feet.
